Training and education statement

The training and education statement supports the local authority in meeting its statutory responsibility to secure enough suitable education and training to meet the reasonable needs of young people.

The underlying intention of this statement is to positively shape and influence local provision, curriculum planning and decision making.

The statement also underpins the Hull Children and Young Peoples Plan 2010-13, the Hull Learning and Skills Strategy for Children and Young People 2012-15, the Raising of the Participation Age Strategic Plan 2012-15, the 13-19 age related early intervention plan and the emerging City Plan.
