Hull Freedom Chorus events

Projects for 2015

Various projects for 2015 are currently in the pipeline.

Hull Freedom Chorus - Share the Spirit of Christmas

Hull Freedom Chorus continues with a seasonal tradition of working with Wakefield based choral leader Ali Bullivent, this December.

If you would like to join in we have got three free workshops with Ali on 5 December (2pm - 5pm), 11 December (7pm - 9pm) and 12 December (2pm - 4pm) during which you will learn special material with a seasonal theme from various cultures.  Ali has also been commissioned to write a special piece just for this project and it is promising to be a real hit with everyone.

Workshops will be followed by performances in the City Centre on the afternoon and early evening of 12 December.  Join us for a special free performance evening at St Mary's Church, Lowgate, Hull 5.30pm - 7pm (to be confirmed).

All are welcome to join in or to come and listen to the free performance in this lovely intimate setting.

Freedom Festival 2015

Another Freedom Festival project has been created for 2015 - Voices of Freedom. We continue the association of the Hull Freedom Chorus with this spectacular arts festival and the Chorus will be joined by newly formed singing groups from Smith and Nephew, Kingston Communications, Associated British Ports and City Healthcare Partnership to perform a newly composed choral work by Graeme Stuart in a spectacular opening event on Scale Lane bridge, conducted by the inspiring Em Whitfield Brooks.
