About Hull City Council

Corporate identity

Corporate identity is one of the key elements of good organisational communication. Hull City Council's brand is made up of three elements: the logo, the colours and the font. How they are applied is important in creating a consistent look, feel and message.

This should be applied across all of our communications which includes –

  • stationery
  • vehicles
  • clothing
  • buildings
  • promotional material (including electronic media – emails and website)

This latest version of the guidelines is the result of a review that was undertaken in 2011.

In particular, this revision presents the council as one council, rather than a collection of departments, services and teams. Opportunities have also been taken to make savings wherever possible. This document is intended to provide staff, suppliers and partners with clear guidelines on the use of the council’s corporate identity.

The corporate identity guidelines are available to download below -

These guidelines must be followed at all times, however if you are unsure please contact Communications and Marketing on 01482 300 300 or email for advice.
