How to find the Arctic Corsair

The Arctic Corsair is behind the Streetlife Museum on the River Hull. It can be accessed via the Museums Quarter which is on High Street, Hull. The visitor centre is beside the Hull and East Riding Museum in the Museums Quarter.

Public transport

Hull bus and train station (Paragon Interchange) is a 15 to 20 minute walk away. The nearest bus stop is Myton Bridge on Alfred Gelder Street.


On street pay and display parking is available just outside the Museums Quarter entrance. Alternatively short stay pay and display parking is available at Lowgate car park on Wilberforce Drive, just a five minute walk away.

Limited blue badge parking is available on the Museums Quarter site by prior arrangement. Please telephone 01482 616 428 for information. Two on street blue badge parking bays are available on Ghandi Way (formerly George Yard) approximately 70m from our entrance and additional spaces on Alfred Gelder Street (opposite the White Hart pub).

Cycle parking is available outside the Streetlife Museum in the Museums Quarter.
