Queens Gardens

Enjoy an alfresco lunch, have a game of football or even just take the weight off for a few minutes in Queens Gardens.

Originally the first dock to be constructed in Hull, it was closed in 1930 and transformed into a picturesque oasis of tree lined pathways and ponds with fountains.

In recent years, Queens Gardens has become host for many of Hull’s most popular events such as the Jazz Festival and the Freedom Festival, and The Mick Ronson stage within the gardens is the perfect platform for performances.

On quieter days, it is enjoyed by mothers and toddlers, students and professionals alike.
