Charities and registered community amateur sports clubs are entitled to 80 per cent relief on business rates. This applies where a property is occupied by the charity or club, and is wholly or mainly used for charitable purposes or as a registered community amateur sports club.

We also have discretion to give further relief on the remaining 20 per cent of the business rates.

Please note that if your organisation is registered under the Charities Act 1993, you will need to include your letter and extract from the register supplied by the Charity Commission with your form.
