Clued Up in Hull

Connexions

The Connexions service in Hull works with 13-19 year olds helping them to make informed choices about education, training and employment and supporting their transition into appropriate opportunities. If a young person has learning difficulties and or disabilities, Connexions can continue to offer support up to the age of 25.

Connexions can offer -

  • impartial advice and information about learning opportunities including college courses, apprenticeships and traineeships
  • careers guidance with fully qualified advisers
  • Information and support on financial matters including access to benefits and bursaries
  • practical support with making applications for jobs and learning opportunities
  • Help and advice in tackling barriers to learning including signposting to specialist agencies

We do all this by working in partnership with local schools, academies, colleges, learning providers, employers and other agencies to ensure we have the most current and accurate information to help our clients.

We operate a duty system 1-4 pm every weekday except Wednesdays. We also operate an appointment system for local young people needing careers guidance.
