Your community

Different parts of Hull have different needs and face a range of issues. We work with local people in communities to help them develop the facilities and organisations that allow them to thrive.

This often means reaching decisions together to get the best for that community. For this to work, we need people to be involved in issues that affect them in their area.

How can I get involved in my community?
You can get involved in the decisions that are made for your area by coming to area committee meetings and ward and neighbourhood forums.

Area teams
There are seven area committees covering the whole city, each supported by a dedicated area co-ordination team.

Ward and neighbourhood forums

These meetings are your chance to get involved and make a difference to your local community. You can express your views, raise important issues and get answers to your questions.
