Initial proposals for new parliamentary constituency boundaries

The Boundary Commission for England published its initial proposals for the new constituency boundaries on Tuesday 13 September. This marked the start of a 12 week consultation on the proposals, where you are invited to access and comment on the new boundaries.

The commission is an independent political impartial public body and must make its recommendations for new boundaries to parliament in September 2018. This is the first of three rounds of consultation.

Public hearings

The commission are holding a series of public hearings to give you an opportunity to come along in person and give comment on the proposals for your region. If you would like to speak at one of the public hearings it is recommended you book a time slot to guarantee that you can have your say.

The public hearings for Hull constituencies are taking place on -

  • Monday 24 October
  • Tuesday 25 October
