Hull has many open gardens for the public to enjoy all year round. Queens Gardens being the largest and most popular of all, it attracts thousands of people every year for picnics and relaxation.

Allotments are a great way to become more self sufficient – as well as a little space of your own away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Your own garden can also become somewhere for everyone to enjoy by entering the Hull In Bloom competition. Residents, community groups, schools as well as many other organisations are invited to enter and impress the judges with their gardening skills. There are eight different categories to enter.
