Open Exhibition

15 February – 27 April 2014

This popular annual event, for both amateur and professional artists, is a celebration of creative talent. Bringing together both contemporary fine art and craft it is an ideal opportunity to find an original work of art at an affordable price.

This year's selectors are Desmond Brett, Visual Artist and Course Leader in Fine Art at Hull School of Art & Design and Kate Crawford, Gallery Development Worker, Artlink.

This exhibition is sponsored by the Friends of the Ferens and BSB Architecture.

Enter your work

Anyone can enter up to three pieces into the Open Exhibition, whether amateur or professional!

Submissions must be delivered to Ferens Art Gallery between Monday 13 and Tuesday 28 January 2014 inclusive.

There is a non-returnable handling fee of £3 (£1.50 concessions) to submit your artwork for consideration.

Works submitted will be considered by the selectors. Notification of acceptance will be posted to you after 6 February 2014.

Unselected artwork can be collected during 24 February - 17 March 2014.

Selected artwork can be collected during 3 - 24 May 2014.
