Overnight repairs to Kingswood link road - 28/06/18
The temporary access road between Kesteven Way roundabout and Bude Road will be closed overnight on Friday 29 June for essential repairs.

The works will take place from 10.45pm to 5am, and a diversion route will be in place. The alternative route will be via Kesteven Way, Richmond Lane, Grosvenor Road, Barnes Way, Ashcombe Road and John Newton Way and vice versa.

The diversion signs will remain in place until Wawne road reopens as an alternative route to the temporary link road to ease traffic flow whilst repairs to Foredyke Bridge take place.

Councillor Anita Harrison, Portfolio Holder for Streetscene, said:

“We are scheduling these repairs to take place overnight in order to try and minimise disruption to motorists.

“The closures are essential so that works can be carried out efficiently in order to improve the condition of the road, and we ask that motorists are patient whilst the work takes place.

“We apologise in advance for any disruption caused during the period of the works.”

Advanced warning signs are in place and residents have been informed of the closure.
