Hull Music Service is presenting two Summer Promenade concerts at the Hull City Hall on Tuesday 26 and Thursday 28 June.

Both concerts begin at 7pm and will feature a mixture of music from traditional jazz to film and TV themes, including the Games of Thrones medley, The Lion King, The Greatest Showman and the Mama Mia medley.

Over the course of two-days, more than 200 pupils will take part combining a range of musical styles, abilities and influences, with City of Hull Youth Symphonic Wind Band, Jazz Orchestra, Youth Choir and the East Hull Schools’ Choir all performing.

The Hull Music Service has a strong track record of providing young people with the opportunity to develop their musical skills and provide opportunities for young people of all abilities across the city. On the 12 June, more than 600 primary children came together to play their instruments and sing at the City Hall as part of our Wider Opportunities Extravaganza concert programme. The children have all received whole class tuition on glockenspiels or samba in their schools throughout the year.

In addition to this, around 1,500 pupils will perform across three days on 18, 19 and 20 June at brass, wood wind and String Wider Opportunities extravaganzas and 800 pupils will come together for two Singing Days at Hull City Hall on 27 and 28 June.
