Leading learning provider gains top endorsement for health and social care training - 28/11/17
Hull Training and Adult Education has been awarded the skills for care endorsement and is one of the first health and social care providers in the area to achieve this award, widely recognised as one of the most rigorous and independent accreditation methods.

This is a bespoke quality mark for learning and development providers within the adult social care sector. To gain the endorsement framework Hull Training and Adult Education have undertaken a rigorous quality assurance process and have demonstrated that they deliver health and social care learning of excellent quality.

Councillor Phil Webster, Portfolio Holder for Learning, Skills and Safeguarding Children, said: “I would like to congratulate the team on achieving this award. By using an endorsed provider it means that employers can be assured that they are providing their staff with the best possible quality training, which meets all CQC requirements while aiding in their development.

“As one of the first Health and Social Care providers in the area to achieve this award, Hull Training and Adult Education are confident that their processes, systems and services are of the highest standard and look forward to working with local residents and employers who are working in the sector.”

Skills for Care is the leading organisation in England responsible for ensuring that adult social care workforce consists of appropriately trained professionals with the skills and knowledge enabling the best possible care and support for individuals with social care needs.

Tracey Nicholson, Project Manager, Skills for Care, said: “Our Endorsement Framework is a mark of quality given to the best learning and development in the adult social care sector. We’re pleased to welcome Hull Training and Adult Education to our ever-growing list of endorsed providers. All providers are put through a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure high quality care is at the heart of their training, meaning the adult social care workforce is in very good hands. Well done!”
