World renowned Hull photographer to have plaque unveiled in his honour - 20/09/17
Trevor Key, who was born in Hull and was a renowned artist, will have a Lord Mayor Centenary Plaque unveiled today (Wednesday 20 September) in honour of his work.

Mr Key (1947-1995), attended Hull’s art college and was a hugely respected photographer who worked largely with the music industry, creating iconic record covers.

Mr Key’s most famous work is said to be the record cover of Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. He also worked with artists and bands including the Sex Pistols, Wham!, Phil Collins and New Order.
As part of the Hull City of Culture 2017 celebrations, an exhibition of some of Mr Key’s best work is on display at the Hull School of Art and Design Brodrick Gallery from Thursday 21 September until Wednesday 18 October, 10am to 5pm.

The exhibition will also be at Ings Library, Savoy Road, Friday 20 October to Friday 17 November and Fred Moore Library, Wold Road, Monday 20 November to Monday 18 December.
