Easter fun at Hull’s parks - 30/03/17
Families will be spoilt for choice this Easter as Hull Culture and Leisure and community partners offer a range of sport and fun activities across eight parks in Hull.

From Monday 10 April families will have the chance to get involved in activity afternoons, with a variety of different sports and activities from cricket, tennis, swingball, orienteering, football to art and craft and reading activities on offer, designed to get all the family moving.

Councillor Terry Geraghty, Hull City Council Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Culture and Leisure and Chair of Hull Culture & Leisure Limited, said: “Our parks are great settings for families to get active together. We are really pleased to welcome our community partners to the park and working together to provide a range of different sports and leisure activities suitable for all the family!”

The activity sessions take place at:
• Shaw Park on Monday 10 April
• Loglands (Longhill) on Tuesday 11 April
• East Park on Wednesday 12 April
• West Park on Thursday 13 April
• Bude Park on Tuesday 18 April
• Pickering Park on Wednesday 19 April
• Ings Playing Field on Thursday 20 April
• Costello Playing Field on Friday 21 April

All free and will take place between 12.30 – 2.30pm, no booking is needed and equipment is provided.
