Citys youngsters get dedicated disco night - 14/03/17
An inclusive disco for young people with special educational needs and disabilities, where they can party and have fun in a club environment, will take place on Friday 18 March.

Organised by Hull City Council's Leisure and Freetime Support Service (LAFSS) in conjunction with Pathway Plus, young people aged between 14 - 21, their families and carers will have the chance to experience a disco and a night of entertainment in the at the KCOM Stadium.

Following the success of the first disco that took place last November, young people using LAFSS and the Pathway Plus service will again be able to experience a real disco environment, listen to a local live band 'The Charm Offensive' and meet new friends.

The disco will get underway from 7.30pm with an array of live music, tuck shop, a raffle with some exciting prizes and a licensed bar.

Councillor Phil Webster, Portfolio Holder for Learning, Skills and Safeguarding Children, said: ""We're delighted to offer youngsters the space for their own disco once again. We've listened to what they wanted, the feedback from the first disco was fantastic so we wanted to offer them another great opportunity to socialise, get to know others and above all have a good time. We hope everyone enjoys it.""
